What changed, release by release
Aly updates itself, so you will get these whether or not you read them. They are here because a one-time price deserves evidence that the work continues — and because “various improvements and bug fixes” is what a changelog says when it would rather not say.

- "Enter key…" on the trial-ended card now opens the License tab with the cursor already in the key field. It used to open Settings on whichever tab you last used, which was rarely the one with the key field on it.
- The two overlay-customization notifications now open General, where the overlay controls actually are.

- Pressing Return in the License tab now activates the key you pasted. It used to add a blank line and do nothing, so the Activate button was the only way through.
- Gift codes are longer. New ones are twelve characters instead of eight, which puts them out of reach of guessing; codes already sent out keep working exactly as they are.

- When your trial ends, Aly now shows the $2.99/month option alongside the $39 licence instead of only naming the licence. Translated into all nine languages.

- Fixed cleanup rewriting you into the second person. A sentence whose only first-person word was a contraction — "I'm trying to sell this" — could come back as "you're trying to sell this". Contractions count as pronouns now.

- Fixed a sixth dictation language refusing to download. macOS lets one app keep five languages ready at a time; Aly now retires the one you have not used in longest to make room, and never the one you are dictating in.

- Translated the 30 longest interface strings, most of them in Settings and onboarding, which had stayed in English while the buttons around them were translated.
- Onboarding no longer says Aly adapts to "your code". It does not — editors and terminals are given no context on purpose, because prose habits damage code.

- Aly's interface now follows your system language: Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese, as well as English. These are machine translations and have not yet been read by native speakers.
- Added a one-time menu bar notice that dictation is no longer English-only, so the ten languages are findable without going looking in Settings. It appears only on macOS 26, where dictating in them is actually possible.

- Fixed two dictation languages installing at once and leaving both stuck, and a failed install now says why it failed instead of staying silent.
Releases before 0.1.81 shipped without written notes. Rather than reconstruct them from memory afterwards, the record starts where the notes do.
